Update on Raven Rock Ranch

Scott Hylton sent an update on Raven Rock Ranch, our March Mission.

Here is Scott presenting the check from Whitestone church to Justin Matts, counselor at the Ranch, and son of the founders, Sandy and Tim Matts.

Also present is John Dammeral, Director of Liberty Road Foundation, an organization that works with non-profits on funding and volunteer services. Scott is a member of that organization.

The exciting news is that the Liberty Road Foundation has decided to match grants to the Ranch up to $40,000. That means our donation has doubled!

Scott also attended a volunteer training session at the Ranch. Here, Sandy and Tim Matts greet the volunteers and explain what they will do.

Volunteers are trained in the proper way to lead a horse in therapy sessions.

Finally, Scott tells us the open space beyond the fences is where the brand new covered arena will be built.
